Account roles Admins and Members
Whether you manage your own line or share a subscription, understanding account roles helps you know what you can—and can’t—do.
What you’ll need

Account roles: Admins and Members
Every SmartLess Mobile account has two roles:
Admin – Full control. Admins can manage all lines on the account, update billing information, and grant or remove Admin access.
Member – Limited control. Members can activate their own line and view usage. An Admin is required for plan changes, add-on purchases, or account-level updates.
The person who creates a SmartLess Mobile account is automatically the original Admin (Owner).
Some actions in MyAccount and the SmartLess Mobile app are available only to Admins. If you’re trying to complete an action and don’t see the option you’re looking for, you likely have Member access. Contact your Admin to complete the request.
How Admins manage access
Only Admins can grant or remove Admin rights.
In the SmartLess Mobile app

Open the SmartLess Mobile app

Enter your email and password to log in

Complete the verification step

Tap More
-
Select Add, manage & assign lines

Select Give admin access or Remove admin access accordingly
In MyAccount
-
Go to MyAccount in your browser

Enter your account email and password to log in

Complete the verification step

Go to Add, manage & assign lines

Find the Member to upgrade

Select Give admin access or Remove admin access accordingly
