Set up a Passkey for your SmartLess Mobile account

A passkey is a secure and convenient way to log in to your SmartLess Mobile account without needing a traditional password. Instead of typing a password each time, you can use your device’s built-in security features, like Face ID, Touch ID, or a device PIN. Think of it as a digital key that makes logging in easier and even more secure.

What you’ll need

Your SmartLess Mobile account email address

Access to the SmartLess Mobile app or MyAccount in a web browser

Your current password (you’ll need this to set up your first passkey)

A compatible device with biometrics or a PIN (e.g., smartphone, tablet, or laptop)

WiFi or mobile data connection

What’s a passkey?

A passkey is a digital login method stored on your device. It replaces your password with a secure, easy-to-use alternative

Face ID – facial recognition on your device

Touch ID – fingerprint verification

Device PIN or screen lock – your device’s screen lock

Passkeys are safer than passwords because they never leave your device. Your device confirms it’s you using built-in security, helping protect your account from phishing and data breaches.

Setting up a passkey

You can set up a passkey in the SmartLess Mobile app or on the web through MyAccount.

In the SmartLess Mobile app

Open the SmartLess Mobile app

Enter your account email and password to log in

Complete the verification step

Tap More

Select Profile Settings

Tap Add a Passkey

Follow the on-screen instructions to link your device’s biometrics or PIN

In MyAccount

Go to MyAccount in your browser

Enter your account email and password to log in

Complete the verification step

Go to Profile Settings

Click Passkeys

Select Manage Passkeys

Select Add a Passkey and follow the on-screen instructions to link your device’s biometrics or PIN

Confirm your passkey is active

Managing your passkeys

To add another passkey, repeat the steps above.

To delete a passkey, go to Manage Passkeys, select the passkey you want to remove, and tap the trash icon.

You can have multiple passkeys on different devices, giving you flexible and secure access.

All set! You can now log in to SmartLess Mobile quickly and securely using your passkey. If you ever want to revert to using your password, you can still log in with your email and password.
