Setting up a Passkey
A passkey is a secure and convenient way to log in to your SmartLess Mobile account without needing a traditional password. Instead of typing a password each time, you can use your device’s built-in security features, like Face ID, Touch ID, or a device PIN. Think of it as a digital key that makes logging in easier and even more secure.
What’s a passkey?
A passkey is a digital login method stored on your device. It replaces your password with a secure alternative that’s easy to use.

Face ID – use facial recognition on your phone or tablet

Touch ID – use fingerprint verification

Device PIN or screen lock – use your device’s built-in passcode
Passkeys are safer than passwords because they never leave your device.
Your device confirms it’s you using built-in security like Face ID, Touch ID, or a device PIN, which helps protect your account from phishing and data breaches.
Setting up a passkey
You can set up a passkey in either the SmartLess Mobile app or on the web through MyAccount.
In the SmartLess Mobile app

Open the SmartLess Mobile app

Log in with your email and current password

Complete verification

Tap More

Select Profile Settings.

Tap Add a Passkey.

Follow the on-screen instructions to link your device’s biometrics or PIN
In MyAccount (web)

Go to MyAccount in your browser.

Log in with your email and current password.

Complete verification

Go to Profile Settings.

Click Passkeys
-
Select Manage Passkeys.

Select Add a Passkey and follow the on-screen instructions to link your device’s biometrics or PIN.

Confirm your passkey is active.
Managing your passkeys

To add another passkey, repeat the steps above.

To delete a passkey, go to Manage Passkeys, select the passkey you want to remove, and tap the trash icon.

You can have multiple passkeys on different devices, giving you flexible and secure access.
All set! You can now log in to SmartLess Mobile quickly and securely using your passkey. If you ever want to revert to using your password, you can still log in with your email and password.
