IP Relay Service
IP Relay service offers SmartLess Mobile subscribers who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, blind, or have a speech disability the ability to call others via text.
With IP Relay, you type out your side of the conversation, and a trained operator reads it aloud to the other person. The operator then types their response back to you. All of this happens over your data connection – so be sure to check your plan details in MyAccount or by downloading the SmartLess Mobile app.
IP Relay is a helpful communication option, when video calling is unavailable, inconvenient, or impractical.
Register for IP Relay
You can register with IP Relay through T-Mobile here. You’ll need to be in the USA to sign up, and verify your identity as part of the registration process.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to download the T-Mobile IP Relay app to get started.

IP Relay and international calls
International calls via IP Relay are not supported.
IP Relay Language
English-to-Spanish or Spanish-to-English translation services are not provided—calls are conducted entirely in Spanish (Spanish to Spanish), or English (English to English). Translation services are not available.
