Spam calls and texts
Spam calls and text messages (SMS) may attempt to steal personal or financial information through fraudulent means. By blocking these numbers, you can help protect your privacy, avoid scams, and ensure that only legitimate and important calls and messages get through. Many phones offer the ability to report spam you’ve received and block the numbers.

Reporting spam messages
If you receive a suspicious text, you can help improve spam detection by forwarding spam messages to 7726 (SPAM). These reports enhance spam protection systems and prevent further disruptions for all users.
General spam tips
Be cautious with personal information
Never share sensitive details over the phone unless you’re sure of the caller’s identity, and don’t respond to any messages or open links if you're suspicious of the content, even if it seems like it's from someone you know. If you have opened suspicious links, consider changing your sensitive passwords for your personal accounts, like banks and social media.

Make sure your phone’s software is always updated to benefit from the latest security features and improvements.
Device protection
Never download applications from unauthorized app stores, or download and install applications from unknown sources.
