Troubleshooting Roaming

When you’re traveling outside the USA, your phone will usually connect to a partner network – that’s called roaming. This lets you make calls, send and receive texts, and use data. If you’re having trouble using your SmartLess Mobile services while traveling, there are a few things to check.

Your plan and travel add-ons

If you are traveling outside the U.S. and you would like to use your SmartLess Mobile services, you’ll need to purchase a Travel Pass to be able to make calls or use data while you’re away.  Our Travel Passes are available in over 200 countries worldwide.

Fun fact: Even if your plan doesn’t include roaming data, you’ll still have access to the SmartLess Mobile App and website—so if you forget to grab a Travel Pass before takeoff, no worries. You can add one the moment you land. See? We’ve got you covered, wherever you are.

Phone settings

When you’re traveling, your phone’s in unfamiliar territory. It’s best to double check a few settings to ensure it’s set up to connect to the right roaming partner(s) when you’ve reached your destination.
