Changing your phone and need a new eSIM?
There are a few situations where you might need a new eSIM — and we’re here to help you through it. Whether you're switching phones, moving from a physical SIM to an eSIM, or accidentally activated on the wrong device (it happens!), here’s what to know.
When You Might Need a New eSIM
You’ll need to request a new eSIM if:
-
You’re switching from a physical SIM card to an eSIM
-
You’re moving from one eSIM-only phone to another
-
You activated your eSIM on the wrong device
-
You accidentally deleted your eSIM profile
How to Get a New eSIM
If you already have an active SmartLess Mobile plan, contact the SmartLess Mobile team to request a new eSIM.
Steps to Take
-
Check if your device supports eSIM
Most newer iPhones and Android devices do — but it's worth confirming first. Check out compatibility checker.
-
Contact the SmartLess Mobile Team
Let us know your situation (e.g. new device, switching from physical SIM, eSIM activated on the wrong phone).
We’ll walk you through the steps and provide a new eSIM if eligible.
Important Notes
-
A new eSIM replaces your old one — only one eSIM can be active per line
-
Once we issue the new eSIM, your previous one will be deactivated
-
Be sure you’re ready to install the new eSIM on the correct device before starting
