Check if you can bring your number to SmartLess Mobile

Thinking about switching to SmartLess Mobile? You can bring your current phone number with you. Use the Number Transfer Check Tool to see if your number is eligible before activating your plan. 

What you’ll need 

  • Your current phone number 

  • Optional: Your current carrier information (helpful if you decide to transfer) 

  • A smartphone, tablet, or desktop device 

How to check your number 

  1. Go to the Number Transfer Check Tool 

  1. Enter your current phone number 

  1. View your results instantly — you’ll see whether your number can transfer to SmartLess Mobile 

What to know about eligibility 

  • Most U.S. phone numbers can be transferred 

  • In rare cases, numbers from Alaska, very small regions, or rural carriers may not be supported 

  •  Numbers outside the U.S. cannot be transferred 

  • Eligibility doesn’t complete the transfer — activation is still required to finalize it 

Next steps 

If your number is eligible

  • During activation, select “Bring your number”

  • Follow the prompts and enter your current carrier details (account number, PIN, etc.) to complete the transfer

If your number isn’t eligible

  • You can start service right away with a new SmartLess Mobile number 

  • Our team is happy to guide you and help you pick a new number if needed
