Add a line
Need another line? No problem. Whether it’s for your kid, your partner, or your karaoke side hustle, we’ve made adding a second line easy..
Just one thing: only the account holder—the person who started the SmartLess Mobile account—can add new lines. So if you’re not the main account holder, tap that person on the shoulder and ask them to follow the steps below.
Here’s how it works: pick a new plan, add it to your account, then invite someone to use the new line—it’s that simple.
Add a new plan

Log into MyAccount or download the SmartLess Mobile app

Go to Manage member plans

Tap the Add a line button at the bottom of the page
Choose your plan

Browse available plans and tap Select Plan

Confirm your selection and tap Continue
Check device compatibility

On the My Cart page, tap Check device compatibility

Select the brand and model of the device connected to the line you’ll be adding, then tap Check compatibility

Follow the prompts and tap Continue

Make sure your device is unlocked when prompted
Choose your SIM

You can order a SIM kit or select eSIM if your device supports it, and then tap Continue
When everything looks good in your cart, tap Begin checkout
Place your order

Review your order on the final screen

Tap Place order
Once your order is placed, you’ll be able to assign the new line and invite someone to use it.
Invite someone to use the new line

Enter their email address during checkout

They’ll get an email with activation instructions
How to activate a new line

Open the SmartLess Mobile account invite email

Tap Join Account and create your login

Once logged in, go to the MyAccount dashboard

Tap Start Activation on the activation card

On the Activate Your Plans page, select Activate This Plan

Enter your E911 address (learn more here)

Choose to transfer your number or get a new number

Important! If you’re transferring your number, do it now—we can’t transfer it later
Follow the onscreen steps to finish activation.
