Activating your SmartLess Mobile SIM card
If you’ve purchased a SmartLess Mobile plan and selected a SIM kit, you’ll need to wait for it to be delivered. Check your inbox for tracking information.
Have your SIM kit? Let’s get started! We know you’re excited – we are too – but keep your SIM kit handy, but don’t insert it into your phone until you’ve finished activating the SIM. Trust us, it’s easier that way.
- Download the SmartLess Mobile app
- Log into your account
- Activate your SmartLess Mobile plan
- Follow the prompts to choose a new number or transfer your existing one
- Complete setup
- Pop your SmartLess Mobile SIM into your phone
Ordering a replacement SIM kit and changing to a new SIM card
Never got your SIM kit? Lost your phone and need a new SIM card? Let us know, we’ll get another one out to ya!

Log into MyAccount or download the SmartLess Mobile app to confirm your shipping details – we can’t change this for you, so double-check it’s correct

Once you’ve received your SIM kit, Contact us and we’ll help you transfer your service to the new SIM
How to change out your SIM card
Grab your SmartLess Mobile SIM kit, it’s got what you need:

SIM ejector tool
And here’s what you’ll need to do:

Power off your phone

Gently insert your SIM ejector tool (that little pokey thing) into the small pinhole beside your SIM tray to eject it

Remove your old SIM card

Check what size SIM card your phone needs

Pop out your SmartLess Mobile SIM card – use one of the included adapter pieces based on your phone’s needs

Place your SIM card into the tray, with the notched corner in the right orientation

Gently re-insert the SIM tray back into your phone
