Domestic Roaming on SmartLess Mobile
Domestic roaming lets you use another U.S. wireless carrier’s network when SmartLess Mobile coverage isn’t available. This helps you stay connected while traveling within the United States.
When you’re outside the SmartLess Mobile network, your phone may automatically connect to another U.S. wireless carrier’s network so you can continue making calls, sending texts, and accessing data.
How domestic roaming works
Domestic roaming turns on automatically when SmartLess Mobile coverage isn’t available and your device connects to another U.S. wireless network. This helps you stay connected while traveling within the United States or in areas with limited coverage.
While domestically roaming, calls and SMS use your included domestic roaming allotment, data is available at reduced speeds for basic connectivity and there are no overage charges for domestic roaming.
What’s included with domestic roaming
Your plan includes the following domestic roaming allotment per billing cycle:

Talk: 50 minutes

Text: 500 SMS
-
Data: Available at speeds up to 512 kbps
Once you’re back in a SmartLess Mobile coverage area, your regular plan services automatically resume.
What you’ll need
To use domestic roaming with SmartLess Mobile, make sure you have the following:

Data roaming enabled on your device

Automatic Network Selection enabled
Turn on roaming on your device

No extra charges: Domestic roaming allotments are included at no additional cost

Built-in limits: Voice and SMS roaming services pause once the included allotment is used

Automatic return: Normal service resumes as soon as you’re back on the SmartLess Mobile network

Usage tracking: Domestic roaming usage isn’t viewable in MyAccount, so it’s best used as a backup
