Installing your eSIM
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card already built into your phone. No plastic, no waiting for shipping — just scan a QR code and go.

Before You Begin
Make sure you're ready:

Your device supports eSIM
-
Your device is connected to WiFi
-
Any old or inactive SIMs/eSIMs from other carriers have been removed

You know your SmartLess Mobile login info
How to install your eSIM
Once your activation is complete, you’ll be prompted to install your eSIM. There are two ways to do it:
Install automatically (Newer iPhone models only)

Confirm your phone is connected to WiFi

Remove any old or inactive SIMs/eSIMs to avoid conflicts

Log into MyAccount or the SmartLess Mobile app on your device

Tap Start eSIM Installation from your Dashboard

Choose the Install automatically option

Follow the iOS prompts to automatically download and install your eSIM
You’ll know it worked when SmartLess Mobile appears under Cellular Plans.
Download and install via QR code (Android and iPhone)
Have an Android device? Use a second device (computer or tablet) to display your QR code. That way you can scan the QR code directly from the device you’re activating your plan on.

Confirm your phone is connected to WiFi

Remove any old or inactive SIMs/eSIMs to avoid conflicts

On a computer or tablet, log into your account at www.smartlessmobile.com/login

Tap Start eSIM Installation from your dashboard

Choose the option to install using QR code

On your phone, go to Settings > SIM Manager > Add eSIM.

Use your phone’s built-in camera to scan your SmartLess Mobile QR code.

Follow the prompts and, when asked, tap Add Cellular Plan.
Important: Only use your device’s built-in camera to scan the QR code. Do not use a third-party QR scanner.
You’ll know it worked when SmartLess Mobile appears under your list of SIMs or Cellular Plans.
