How to remove and insert your SIM card
After activating your SmartLess Mobile plan, you’ll need to remove your old SIM card from your prior carrier (if it is no longer going to be used) and insert your new SmartLess Mobile SIM.
If you haven’t activated your SIM Kit yet, please complete Activating your SmartLess Mobile SIM Kit first.

Steps to remove or insert your SIM card
Step 1: Power off your phone
Turn off your device to avoid damage and connection issues.
Step 2: Eject the SIM tray
Gently insert the SIM ejector tool into the small pinhole next to your SIM tray. The tray should pop out easily.
Step 3: Remove your old SIM card
Before removing your old SIM from the tray, take note of its orientation. Carefully remove your old SIM from the tray.
Step 4: Check your SIM size
Make sure your new SIM fits your phone. Use an adapter from the kit if needed.
Step 5: Insert the new SIM card
Place your SmartLess Mobile SIM in the tray, aligning the notched corner correctly.
If you're using an eSIM instead, proceed to Step 6
Step 6: Re-insert the SIM tray
Gently push the tray back into your phone until it clicks into place.
Step 7: Power on your phone
Turn your phone on and follow any on-screen prompts. Your SmartLess Mobile service is now ready to use.
